Carrie DisqueCarrie Eurich Disque, 86, a resident of West River for 49 years and previously of Hyattsville, died Jan. 25 at the Severna Park Center, Genesis ElderCare Network, of complications due to infection after a 10-day illness.Mrs. Disque was born Aug. 15, 1917, in Baltimore. She worked at the District of Columbia Health Department during World War II where she met her husband, Allen Disque, a microbiologist. They were married on Aug. 16, 1943.She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Eastern Star Chapter 114, Bayside in Shady Side, where she was worthy matron in 1969.Mr. Disque died in Sept. 28, 2000.Surviving are three sons, Robert Disque of Annapolis, Larry Disque of Columbia, Calif., and Lynn Disque of Harwood; one brother, Frank Kaiss of Adelphi; and nine grandchildren.Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Hardesty Funeral Home, 851 Galesville Road, Galesville, where funeral services will follow.
