Ann Carver May was born May 12, 1943 to Fred and Dorothee Hochberg and was raised on Catalina Island, CA. with her brother, Dr. Eric Hochberg.
She married Charles Robert Lawrence (deceased) and gave birth to a daughter, Lisa Lawrence Day, in 1966. She divorced and eventually married Thomas Allen May (deceased) of Blanding, UT.
Ann Lived in Athens, Greece for eight years then moved to Staunton, VA in 1982. In 1995 Ann and Tom moved back to Blanding, UT to retire. They designed and built their home at what is known as Cinco Cedros.
The last five years her granddaughter, Jessica Leigh Stephens, and her fiancé, Jordan Simpson, lived with her. Ann passed away peacefully in her home on September 20, 2017 surrounded by family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Lawrence Day; her granddaughter, Jessica Leigh Stephens; her two great-grandsons, Wylie Dean and Rowdy Nathaniel; and her brother, Dr. Eric Hochberg of SB, CA.
Besides being a wife and mother, when she was young she loved swimming several miles a day in the ocean. She enjoyed learning, reading and doing crafts.
In her later years she loved spending time with her family and her great-grandsons.
A Memorial Service was held Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the San Juan Mortuary in Blanding, UT.
