Angie was born August 21, 1911 in the Town of Eaton in Manitowoc County to the late Joseph and Marie (Kaltenbrun) Gaerthoefner. Angie attended schools in St. Nazianz and Holy Name School in Sheboygan prior to attending Sheboygan Business College. For many years she worked in the office and retired from R-Way Furniture. Survivors include her sister RoseMarie Schwonek of Sheboygan, nieces and nephews Joan (Jack) McBrien of Minnesota, Ann (Mark) Peterson of Appleton, James (Linda) Gaerthofner of Appleton, Jean Schwonek of Milwaukee, David Schwonek of Milwaukee, Steve Schwonek of Sheboygan, Kimberly Schwonek of Sheboygan and other nieces, relatives and friends. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law Norbert (Beatrice) Gaerthofner, sister Alverna "Vernie" Gaerthoefner, and two nieces Jayne Kay Gaerthoefner and Kimberly Ann LaBorde. Family and friends may call at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Friday from 10-11 A.M. Funeral service for Angie will be held at 11 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Fr. Daniel Lasecki officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Angie's name.
