Anastasia M. Malburg
Mrs. Anastasia M. Malburg, age 71, died Monday June 19, 2006.
She was born on Feb. 17, 1935 in Weare Township to Clement and Margaret (Kokx) Hammerle. Mrs. Malburg was married in St. Joseph Catholic Church to Raphael Malburg on August 20, 1955.
She began her employment as a teller and bookkeeper at the Oceana County Savings Bank, later known as FMB and Huntington Bank. Mrs. Malburg was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was active with her husband in the Knights of Columbus.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie Jean (Dale) Hyder of Sand Lake, MI, Roberta Sue (Gene) Dennert of Hart, Virginia Marie (Mark) Lehr of Rosemont, MN, Anthony Louis (Carol) Malburg of Farmington, MN and Christina Ann (Scott) Terryn of Oakland Township; eleven grandchildren, Katie, Brock and Carly Hyder, Jake and Garett Dennert, Sarah and Josh Lehr, Kate and Matt Malburg, Brooke and Kyle Terryn; three brothers, Marinus Hammerle of Ludington, Orville Hammerle of Shelby and Bud Hammerle of Nebraska; one sister, Valeria Alvesteffer of Hart; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raphael in 2001, one grandson, Brian Hyder, three sisters, Regina Hammerle, Loretta Hayes and Germaine DeRuiter, one brother, Frederick Hammerle.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Anton Tran presiding. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Tate-King Funeral Home, where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund or the Knights of Columbus Holy Cross Children?s Services.
