  [S927] Obituary. Obituary of Luella Goehring Tripp - Luella Goehring, 90, formerly of Delmont, died at her home in Tripp on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Funeral service will be Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Burial will be held at Delmont City Cemetery at a later date. Luella Alice Goehring was born on November 23, 1926 to Adolph and Sarah (Auch) Herr. She attendedcountry school northeast of Tripp, SD. She married Lotar Goehring on February 1, 1953 at FriedensReformed Church in Tripp, SD by Rev. Walter Odenbach. Together they farmed north of Delmont untilretiring in 1990 when they moved east of Delmont across from the Delmont Golf Course. Lotar died on August 24, 2013. Luella was on various women's organizations in church and was a member of SodakStamm and German-Russian Heritage Society. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, cooking andgardening. She died at her home in Tripp on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the age of 90. She is survived by 3 sons, Donavan (Nya) Goehring of Delmont, SD, Michael (Bobbie) Goehring of Delmont, SD, and Owen (Reita) Goehring of Tripp, SD, 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law, Meta Herr of Tripp, SD, Shirley Goehringof Parkston, SD, and Ruth Herr-Gyory of California, and numerous nieces and nephews.
