March 06, 2010 07:28 pm ? ASHTABULA ? Dorothy F. (Hill) Kendall, age 95, of Ashtabula, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Country Club Retirement Campus. She was born Jan. 27, 1915, in Cherry Hill Township, Indian Co., Penn Run, Pa., the daughter of Robert D. and Cora (Goodlin) Fyock. She was a active member of the Saybrook United Methodist Church and the Austinburg Garden Club for many years. Surviving her is a brother, Dale Fyock of Penn Run, Pa.; a sister, Della Duncan of Apopka, Fla.; a step-daughter, Susan (Harold) Miller of Saybrook Township; a step-son, Richard Kendall of Pinole, Calif.; nine step-grandchildren; 19 great-step-grandchildren; two great-great-step-grandchildren; and eight loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Doyle Fyock; a sister, Jane Fyock in childhood; her first husband, Robert Hill; second husband, Walter Kendall in 2004; and a step-daughter, Carol Luoma in 2008. Memorial Service will be 1 p.m., Friday, March 12th, at the Saybrook United Methodist Church, 7900 S. Depot Road, Saybrook Township, with the Rev. Jeffrey Stoll officiating. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Saybrook United Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.
