She was born June 16, 1915, in Donora, Pa. to Charles J. and Gertrude (Retzler) Wahl. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and the National Council of Catholic Women. Margaret was a leader in establishing the library at St. Joseph Elementary School. She was a volunteer at Robinson Memorial Hospital and worked at the election polls for many years. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the staff at Kent Ridge at Golden Pond, where Margaret resided since 2007, and the staff at Summa St. Thomas Critical Care Unit. She is survived by sons, Charles (Peggy) Breiding of Randolph and James (Beth) Breiding of Kent; daughters, Mary Catherine (Tom) Mayer of Randolph, Barbara (Bill) Marras of Akron and Margie (Nick) Chiaia of Toledo; nine grandchildren; five great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford "Woodie" Breiding; and parents, Charles J. and Gertrude (Retzler) Wahl. Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 6 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Randolph-Suffield-Atwater Food Shelf, c/o St. Joseph's Church, 2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
