  [S927] Obituary. Gerald F. Kleine Mr. Gerald F. Kleine, age 71, of Locust Grove, Georgia died June 6, 2008. Mr. Kleine was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Valerie Garthoffner and George R. Kleine. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, he retired as an Air Traffic Controller with 40 plus years of service, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who enjoyed his family, golf, traveling, cruises and gambling. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Kleine of Locust Grove; children, Chris and Cathy Kleine of Jacksonville, Florida, Todd and Tracie Kleine of Smyrna, James and Stephanie Mudge of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Tony and Kim Biles of Jackson, and Robb and Nikki Verna of Kennesaw; brothers, Richard Kleine of Bettendorf, Iowa, Robert Kleine of St. Louis and George Kleine, both of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Mary Jean Trieschmann of St. Louis, Missouri; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services were held June 10 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Perstrope officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
