  [S927] Obituary. John D. Burkhart John David Burkhart, 64, died Aug. 11, 2007, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia. He was a life resident of Tuscarawas County, mostly in Zoar and Sandyville. He was born July 10, 1943, in Dover to the late Henry C. and Neva G. Burkhart and was a 1963 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School. He is survived by a son, Brett; three grandchildren, Brandi, Brittany and John William Burkhart; his former wife, Jo Anne McKinney; four brothers and three sisters, Junior (Jim), Robert, Ray and Thomas, Esther Simon, Grace Renner and Ruth McCaulley. Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Jo, in 1995. At his request, John has been cremated. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held, with Ken Parrott officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville. Lebold Funeral Home of Bolivar is handling arrangements.
