He was predeceased by : his parents, Otto George Burkhart Sr. and Murl Starr Burkhart; and his sisters, Carol Hunter, Doris Headley and Patty Sharrock. He is survived by : his wife Luella Mayberry Burkhart; his children, Tammy Graham (Randy) of Lewisville, Kelly VanDyne (Jeffrey) of Beallsville, Ohio, Terry Burkhart (Etta) of Jerusalem and Daniel Burkhart (Odeta) of Woodsfield, Ohio; and his sisters, Kay Robb of Barnesville and Charlotte Morris of Colorado. He is also survived by several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 22nd 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watters Funeral Home (37501 OH-78, Woodsfield, OH 43793). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2020 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2020 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (35560 Miltonsburg-Calais Rd, Woodsfield, OH 43793).
