Gerald B. Garrett April 13, 2007 Gerald B. Garrett, 81, of Wichita Falls, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007. The funeral service will conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2007, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls, with the Pastor Travis Patterson, officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Mr. Garrett was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Gotebo, Okla. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Navy on PT boats during World War II. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was the owner of Garrett Motor Company for over fifty years. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Wiist Garrett of Wichita Falls; two sons, Larry Garrett and wife, Laura of Cleburne; and Randy Garrett and wife, Ketha of Wichita Falls; daughter, Tammy Wagner of Shreveport, La.; five grandchildren, Valerie Garrett, Chase Garrett, Jenna Garrett, Ashley Johnson and Alex Wagner; one great-grandson, Landon Scott Johnson. Serving as pallbearers will be: Chase Garrett, Alex Wagner, Barney Brock, Johnny Farrell Brock, Billy Brock, Richard Summerlin, Danny Horschler and Larry Gillen. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2007, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Pathfinder Club at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
