She was born July 7, 1926 in Maximo of Arthur V. and Stella (Novak) Brown. She lived in the vicinity for her lifetime. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ladies D.A.V. Auxiliary.She is survived by her husband, Richard A.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Custar of Leetonia; two sons, Richard J. and George A., both of Alliance; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Johnson of Colorado, twin sister Mrs. Eileen Haidet of Canton, Mrs. Geraldine Wilder of Louisville; two brothers, Richard Brown of Homeworth and Virgil Brown of Maximo.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Frank Carfagna officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Calling hours are tonight 7-9 at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alliance Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
