  [S927] Obituary. Wahl, Esther I. Age 91, of Mayfield ManorDied suddenly on Sunday. Born in Woodsfield, Ohio, on April 8, 1917 to the late Cletis and Mary Bohnam Truax. She had been a Canton area resident for over 70 years and was a former employee of King's Confectionary in North Canton. Esther was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and a former member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton. She was the widow of Francis G. Wahl who died in 1996. Survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Janet Myers of Massillon, Carolyn and Ron Mewborn of Havelock, NC, and Betty and William Art of North Canton; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Reuschman of Louisville, Judy (Albert) Pardon of Woodsfield, and Shirley (Jack) Pfalzgraf of Lewisville; brother, Charles (Jean) Truax of Woodsfield; and four sisters-in-law, Pat, Wilma, Edna, and Joyce Truax. In addition to her husband she is also preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles F. and Patricia Wahl; son-in-law, Robert Myers; two grandsons, Steven and Stuart Wahl; sister, Doris Keylor; and five brothers, Paul, Durel, Clyde, Junior, and Robert Truax. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Fr. William Kraynak as Celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
