Robert Jerome Fabacher passed away in April after a short illness. He was 96. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruth Weatherby Fabacher; his children Catherine Ann Fabacher, Robert Jerome Fabacher, Jr, (wife Michelle Morgan), Jeffrey Everette Fabacher and James Weatherby Fabacher (wife Lisette Robbert). He is also survived by his four grandsons: Brook Benedict Fabacher, James Robbert Fabacher, Erik Weatherby Fabacher and Andrew Allerton Fabacher. He was born in Biloxi, MS. on February 10, 1920 to Clementine Trolicht and Lawrence Bartholomew Fabacher. Bob was a former president and active member of the Allstate Sugar Bowl for many decades. He graduated MIT with a degree in Mech. Engr. After the war, he returned to Biloxi, MS, where he met and married his wife Ruth. They moved to New Orleans where he served as Vice President of Advertising and Marketing at the Jackson Brewing Co. He is a former member of the Rotary Club, the Bienville Club, the Advertising Club of N.O., New Orleans Country Club and a senior member of the Southern Yacht Club. He was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church at 444 Metairie Road, where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28 2016. Visitation will be held at 10 am, Mass at 11:00 am and a Celebration of Life following mass, until 2, in the St. Joseph Hall, a few steps from the church.
