Barbara Kraft Bishop's obituary appeared in The Louisville Herald (pg 4) on 13 Apr 1916: Mrs. Barbara Bishop died at the home of her son, Leonard Bishop, who resides east of Louisville, Friday evening at five o'clock at the age of seventy five years. She is survived by five sons and two daughters; three sons, Henry, John, and Leonard, residing near Louisville, and the other sons and daughters reside near Zanesville, Ohio. Mrs. Bishop came to this vicinity about eleven years ago. She was well known by all as a kind, freindly, aged lady and will be missed from the family circle. Funeral services were held at St. Louis Catholic church, Monday morning and were conducted by Rev. N. P. Weckel. Interment was made in St. Louis Cemetery.
