  [S927] Obituary. http://www.kendallville-in.org/interment.asp ENDALLVILLE - Henry E. Karst, age 93, died on Saturday May 08, 2004 at the Parkview-Noble Hospital, in Kendallville, In. He was born on November 14, 1910 in Huntington, County Ind. to Edward and Anna (Scher) Karst. He first married Bernadette Miller in 1939 and she preceded him in death in 1972. He then married Elvena Miller Shoudel on May 12,1973 and she survives. He was a 1928 graduate of St. Peter and Pauls High School in Huntington, Ind. Moved to Kendallville, in 1938, was employed at Kraft Foods in Kendallville, Ind. where he was Quality Control supervisor for 40 years retiring in 1974, and he farmed part-time. Member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church was an alter boy for many years, read readings and also was an usher. He was a past member of the Kendallville Fire Department. 3rd degree Member of the Knights of Colmbus Council 7839 Loved playing cards and doing puzzles. He is survived by Wife, Elvena Karst of Kendallville, IN. Son, Ronald & Sue Karst of Princeton, KY. Son, Dennis & Julie Karst of Ossian, IN. Son, Jerry & Patsy Karst of Kendallville, In.
