Keevert, Dale : The entire community was shocked to learn of the sudden death of Dale Keevert, 28, who was drowned Saturday afternoon in Brady Lake, near Kent, OH. It is said his boat sprung a leak and he leaped into the water which was to cold for swimming. Surviving are his wife, a daughter Joyce, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Keevert of near Woodsfield. Two sisters and a brother also survive. They are Ruth Young of Columbus, Zelda Brown of Woodsfield and Ralph Keevert of the home. There are other relatives and many friends. The body was brought to the Bauer & Turner Funeral Home Sunday afternoon, where it will remain until after the services. Mr. Keevert was a lifelong resident of this county, with the exception of the past few years that he has resided in Kent, OH. A host of friends are saddened by his death. He came from a prominent Monroe County family and was a man of many fine qualities. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the chapel of the funeral home and burial will be made in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
