Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, Lafayette, 5-8 p.m. Thursday, with Rosary at 4:45 p.m. Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Father Dan Gartland officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Surviving are 25 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, George and Elizabeth Albert Kochert; her husband, Herman Schrader Jr.; 3 brothers, Michael, Vincent and Valentine "Dick" Kochert; a sister, Mary Magdeline Kochert; 3 great-grandchildren, twins Justin and Jacob Hilt, and Abigail Hilt. Dorothy C. Schrader, 90 Dorothy C. Kochert Schrader, 90, of 1915 Perrine St., died at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at the home of her daughter, Eileen Hilt. Born Feb. 6, 1915, in Lafayette, she attended St. Francis High School in Lafayette. She married Herman J. Schrader Jr. on Oct. 20, 1933, in Lafayette. He preceded her in death Nov. 20, 1994. Mrs. Schrader was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church; the Third Order of St. Francis; the Legion of Mary; the Knights of Columbus 456 Ladies; the Senior Citizens of St. Lawrence; the Altar and Aid Society; and St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary. She made thousands of rosaries for missions, and was an avid sports fan of Central Catholic High School and Notre Dame. Surviving are two daughters, Eileen Hilt (husband: Russell) of Lafayette and Sally Schrader of Orange, Calif.; five sons, James Schrader (wife: Barbara) and Richard Schrader (wife: Paulene), both of Lafayette, Robert Schrader (wife: Patricia) and Joseph Schrader (wife: Carolyn), both of Greensboro, N.C., and Michael Schrader (wife: Patricia) of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Rita Hobbs of Lexington, N.C.; and a brother, Robert Kochert (wife: Barbara) of Lafayette.
