Butler, Mrs. Philomena, aged 70, of 502 N. Broadway,
Barnesville,passed away suddenly, Tuesday evening, February
2nd., at 5:30 o'clock in her home of a heart attack.
Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Friday morning
from The Church of The Assumption, Barnesville, Rev. Herman
Tague officiating. Burial wasin The Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Butler was born December 19, 1872, in Monroe
County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Reischman.
She is survived by her husband, John Butler, and seven
children by former marriages: Homer Clary of Newark; Mrs.
Fred Toohey of Barnesville; Mrs. Edwin Crosby of Canton; Mrs.
Jake Froehlich, Fred Froehlich and Clement Froehlich, all of
Barnesville Route; Leo Reischman of Miltonsburg; two brothers,
John and Peter Reischman, of Miltonsburg, and three sisters,
Mrs. Barbara Baker of Woodsfield; Mrs.Joseph Burkhart of
Barnesville, and Mrs. Louis Harper of Cambridge, also16
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Attending the funeral from Woodsfield were Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Kahrig, Mr. and Mrs. George Schneider and Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Hartshorn.
