  [S927] Obituary. Carl E. Jackson, 83, of 45620 TR 272, Lewisville, died Dec. 18, 1996, in Selby General Hospital, Marietta. He was born at Antioch, May 6, 1913, a son of the late Alva Jackson and Charlotte Brown Jackson. He was a retired employee of the Ohio Department of Transportation, Monroe County Division, a member of the Buchannan Presbyterian Church, Lewisville, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge # 186, Woodsfield. Surviving are his wife, Wilene Young Jackson, of Lewisville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Allan and Susan Jackson, of Wilson, and Kenneth Carl and Pam Jackson, Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Gladys Lude, of Moundsville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edward Jackson; a daughter, Lois Jackson; four brothers, Jesse, Lawrence, Donavan, and Oliver Jackson; a sister, Lelia Tubaugh. Friends were received Dec. 20. at Bauer-Turner Furneral Home, Woodsfield, where services were held Dec. 21, with Rev. Colleen Finlay officiating. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
