He was born April 30, 1929, in Bellaire, a son of the late Weston G. and Dorra McFadden Wise. He was a self-employed building contractor, served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, was an active trustee and head usher of the First Presbyterian Church of Barnsville. Surviving are his wife, Iva Hoff Wise; three sons and daughters-in-law, Randall Wise, Barnesville, Gregory and Debbie Wise, Bethesda, Todd and Kim Wise, Westerville; daughter, Mrs. Brian (Cathi) McCelland, of Barnesville; a brother, William Wise, of Belmont; a sister, Dorothy Coe, of Utica; six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald Francis Wise. Friends were received July 22 at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, and until time of services July 23 at the First Presbyterian Church in Barnesville, with Rev. Andrew Woods officiating. Burial followed in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Barnesville, Ohio, 43713.
