Obit:1954Pockl, Mrs. Justina (nee--Letzelter)Source--NewsclippingPublished--1954Pockl, Mrs. Justina Letzelter, age 74, of 42 Pike Street, Wheeling, resident of North Wheeling for the past fifty-six years, died Friday afternoon at 1:55 o'clock in the Wheeling Hospital after being in poor health for a year.The widow of Henry J. Pockl, she was born October 5, 1879 in Woodsfield, where she spent her early life. She was a daughter of Michael and Magdalena Burkhardt Letzelter. Mrs. Pockl was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of the Sacred Heart Church.Surviving are two sons, Henry Pockl, Jr. and Edward Pockl, of Wheeling; three daughters, Mrs. Sherwood Junkins, Mrs. Thomas Lynskey and Mrs. John Dean, of Wheeling; one brother, Joseph Letzelter, of Warwood; two sisters, Mrs John Caton, of Martins Ferry and Mrs. Anna Poulton, of Wheeling, and seventeen grandchildren.A Requiem High Mass was solemnized this Monday morning at nine o'clock in the Sacred Heart Church, Wheeling.Interment was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.[Submitters note--Justina Letzelter Pockl died September 17, 1954]
