Ida FreitagSewickley resident Ida M. (McCammon) Freitag, 97, a resident of Sewickley since 1937, died on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at The Masonic Village at Sewickley. She was born Jan. 20, 1910 in Woodsfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert and Minnie (Neuhart) McCammon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Freitag, her daughter, Lois Elleen Freitag; and three sisters, Hazel Wahl, Alice Baker and Freda Jones. Ida was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sewickley, O.E.S. #439 Sewickley Chapter, National Council of Senior Citizens and Mayfield Mann Club in Canton, Ohio. She is survived by her son, Larry, and his wife, Analana (Hays) Freitag, of Sewickley. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Friends were received at Copeland's Sewickley Funeral Home, where a service was held with the Rev. Thomas Moog officiating. Burial followed in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Woodfield, Ohio.
