  [S927] Obituary. Dorothy Fiig March 22, 2008 EDGERTON -- Dorothy S. Fiig, 80, Edgerton, died at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Laurels of DeKalb, Butler, Ind. She was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Blakeslee, daughter of George and Rosella (Siebenaler) Thiel. In 1947, she married Kenneth Fiig, who survives. She worked on the Etch-a-Sketch line at Ohio Art Company in Bryan, retiring with 40 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton and its Rosary Altar Society. Also surviving are a son, Kenneth Jr., Edgerton; and a grandson, a step-grandson, 12 great-grandchildren, a granddaughter-in-law and her longtime caregiver, Alisia Fiig-Kaiser, Butler. Preceding her in death were two brothers, Michael and Cleo Thiel; two sisters, Leona Clark and Lucille Blosser; and two grandsons. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton, with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is private.
