Source: The Marietta Times, Thursday, April 3, 2003WOODSFIELD - Clyde W. Kilburn, 80, of 422 Moose Ridge Road died at 7 a.m. Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at the Monroe County Care Center in Woodsfield. He was born Oct. 25, 1922, near Lewisville to Homer and Emma Bintz Kilburn. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.He was a retired employee of the Modern Hardware Store in Woodsfield. He was a former associate of the former Michener Funeral Home at Woodsfield and was an associate of Watters Funeral Home at Woodsfield since 1984. He was a member of Woodsfield United Methodist Church at Woodsfield; American Legion Post 87 at Woodsfield; Monroe County Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau Council; and member and past chancellor commander of the Knights of Pythian Lodge 338 at Woodsfield;He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Fannie E. Fogle Kilburn; one daughter, Susan Adams of Fleming; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Leona) Leach of Barnesville and Mrs. Robert (Rita) Winland of Bremen, Ohio; one grandson, Kevin Francis and his fiance, Shila Morrison, and her daughter, Kamryn, all of Newport; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ann Kilburn, in 1962; and his parents.Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Watters Funeral Home in Woodsfield with Pastor Dwaine Denis officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemetery in Woodsfield. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
