She was born September 20, 1890 in Monroe County, the daughter of the late Henry and Louise Schneider Hoff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Lude, November 23, 1977 and also an infant daughter Almeda Jean. She was a member of West Union Church of Christ. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Florence) Lallathin, Sardis, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Taylor, Wheeling, W. Va.; two sons, Paul Lude, Woodsfield, Wilber Lude, Moundsville, W. Va.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
