Mattie L. Fabacher ? 11/16/2001 Funeral services for Mattie L. Fabacher, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Rev. Anthony Fontenot will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today, with a rosary at 6 p.m. Mrs. Fabacher died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, in a local care center. A native of Opelousas, he was a longtime resident of Lake Charles. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Survivors include one son, John W. Garoby of Monroe; one brother, Daniel V. Laughlin of Vinton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
