GERTRUDE BURKE Mrs. Gertrude Clare Burke, 84, of Covina, Calif., a former Des Moines resident, died there Wednesday after a three-year illness. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. today at the Custer Funeral Home in Covina. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in St. Joseph, Mo. Born in Abilene, Kan., she lived in Des Moines for 28 years before moving to California 12 years ago. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Warner of Lawrence, Kan.; five dauchters. Mrs. II. C. Behrcndt of Des Moines, Mrs. Bob Saunders of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Patricia Fairhurst of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Don Mock and Mrs. Agnes Montgomery, both of Covina; two sons, William of Grand Island, Neb., and John P. of Des Moines; 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grand children.
