Bio: Nancy Carolyn Lippincott Davis, youngest daughter of Virgil Harold Lippincott and May Schell Lippincott Payton, was born May 3, 1941, in Bethany MO, and passed away June 19,1994, after a lengthy illness at Pineview Manor in Stanberry, MO, at the age of 53 years, one month and 16 days. She grew up in the Eagleville area and attended school at Eagleville until they moved to Des Moines in 1955. A daughter Kimberly Sue was born in 1959. Nancy was united in marriage to Jimmie Louis Davis on June 23, 1973. To this union a son Harold James Davis was born. She is survived by her husband Jim, her son James of the home, her daughter Kimbery of Lee's Summit, MO, a brother Paul Wayne Lippincott and wife Judy of Hot Springs Village Arkansas, a sister Elizabeth Nible and husband Floyd of Bethany, MO, three sister-in-laws Helen Nichols Libery MO, Shirley Elmore FL, Nancy Gloth, Kansas City and one brother-in-law, John Davis, Mexico, MO, her mother-in-law Melville Davis of Bethany, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil, her mother May, and her stepfather, Pappy Payton. Nancy loved life and lived it to its fullest. Her number one priority was her family. She loved each one for the special person they are. She joked with everyone and could tell stories by the hours. After becoming ill she enjoyed having company and her nieces and nephews were especially close to her. Nancy enjoyed gardening, her flowers, and putting up her bounty from her garden. She liked watching the birds, and animals from her window.
