Schell aged 53 years, died this morning at his home at 314 west Twelfth street, after an illness of over five months during which time he was confined to his bed. He is an old Newton resident, and a well known blacksmith having had a shop here for several years.He is survived by a wife and eleven children, also five brothers. The funeral service will be held at the family residence Sunday afternoon at 2:30.Kansan, Friday, November 12, 1915Children: Ann, Clarence, Edna, Genevive, John, Leo, Lucille, Oscar, Ruth, Sam and Laura Mae.
