She was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School and worked for Taylor Instrument Company of Rochester. She married Francis and moved to Syracuse, New York. After 16 years, the family moved to Pittsford, New York where Joan and Francis lived for 49 years. She worshipped at St. Louis in Pittsford, was active at Barker Road Elementary School and worked for Sibley?s/Kaufman?s in Victor, New York.Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday from 4-7 PM at Michael R. Yackiw Funeral Home, 1650 Empire Blvd., Webster. Friends and family are invited to St. Louis Catholic Church, 64 S. Main St, Pittsford, where a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 1:15 PM.
