Stephen G. Blystone, 59, of Clymer, passed away October 1, 2019, at his home. He was born, April 29, 1960 in Indiana, to the late Earl Bryan Blystone and Lois Mae (Ober) Silvis.
Stephen was a 1978 graduate of Penns Manor High School. He later went on to work as a machinist.
Stephen truly loved being outdoors, whether it was riding his two Harley?s and Victory Bike, or riding on the Conemaugh and Allegheny Rivers in his kayak, canoe, or Jon Boat. He also enjoyed spending time working on cars and trucks.
Stephen is survived by his siblings: Victoria Black, and her husband, John, of Gillette, WY; and Nolan Blystone, and his wife, Karen, of Penn Run; his step-sister, Laura Ward, and her husband James, of Indiana; and his half-sisters: Cheryl Blazavich, and her husband James, of Homer City, and Sharon Wolf, and her husband, Cody, of Indiana. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his step-father, Clyde Silvis.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be in the McDowell Cemetery, Northern Cambria. The Blystone family is being assisted by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer.
