Bio: William E. Fox, Jr., in his 84th year, fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2006. He was born in Stoughton, Massachusetts, of the late William and Marian Fox, Sr. He is a decorated World War II veteran First Squad, Second Platoon of G Company, Second Battalion, 318 Infantry Regiment of the 80th Infantry Division in the European Theatre of Operations. He is a graduate of St. Louis University, was a successful businessman and was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gertrude R. Fox (nee Bosch) and his ten children, Teresa (Jamie) Stoller of Shaker Heights, Ohio, James (Matoula) Fox of Montclair, N.J., Kathy (Vern) Fox of Port Townsend, Wash., Kevin (Julie) Fox of New York, N.Y., Susan (David) Thompson of Roanoke, Va., Andrea (Keith) Kluender of Madison, Wis., Peggy (David) Good of Denver, Pa., Vicki Venes and (Jack Winters) of Tacoma, Wash., Jennifer (Michael) Markulec of Titusville, N.J., Lisa (Eric) Crutchfield of Roanoke, Va. He leaves behind 21 adorable and much beloved grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that loved him very much. Family Mass will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church in Roanoke, Va. Visitation will be at the Church one hour before the Mass. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held in the Spring of 2007.
