He had been a patient at the Garrett Community hospital for 2 weeks before being transferred to the convalescent home on Feb. 2The body was removed to the Dilgard & Cline funeral home in Auburn where friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday.Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Mark's Lutheran church in auburn at 2 p.m Friday with the Rev. George Schuette, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn cemetery, near Auburn.Mr. Shoudel was born Nov. 7, 1884, in Auburn and was the son of the late John and Lydia Osbun Shoudel. He resided in Auburn all of his lifetime with the exception of 15 years when he lived at Grand Rapids, Mich. He returned to Auburn in 1926.He and Stella Kraft were married in 1902 and she preceded him in death in 1950. He was a retired factory worker, being employed at the Ball Brass & Aluminum Foundry in Auburn.Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Cope of Grand Rapids, MRs.
