She is survived by her son William Joseph Holtman, Jr., three grandchildren, Catherine (married to Edward Sawyer), Daniel Holtman, and Gregory Holtman (married to Corey). She was also the proud great grandmother to Wyatt and Chase Holtman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William Joseph Holtman, Sr. Doris Ruth Jump (or ?Aunt Sue? as she was known to much of her family) was born on September 17th, 1921 in Arvada, Colorado. She was the third child born to Pearl and Louise Jump, and the only daughter amongst three brothers. Her family lived on a farm on Ralston Road that later became Timberline Gardens. She graduated from Arvada High School in 1939. She married her husband Bill on April 12th, 1947 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver. They welcomed their only child, Bill Jr. on June 14th, 1955. They were longtime residents of Lakewood Colorado, except for a few years spent in San Francisco, where they experienced the earthquake in 1989.Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and delighted in being a part of their lives. Her generous spirit and genuinely joyful demeanor made her a surrogate grandmother to countless friends of the family. Bill and Doris spent some time travelling, with their favorite destination being Las Vegas. Long-time members of Lakewood Country Club, her favorite hobbies were golf and bridge. Memorial mass will be held Monday January 2nd, 2017 at 11:30 am a Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary Chapel at Mount Olivet Cemetery with a reception to follow.
