Obituary for Harriet Elizabeth Haeg (Boeding)
Harriet Boeding Haeg, 80, of Bloomington died peacefully November 11, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson?s. Born May 1st, 1938 to Clem and Teresa Boeding, raised on a farm in Lawler, Iowa. She was the eldest of 7 children. Harriet graduated from the College of St. Theresa, Winona in 1960. On June 23rd, 1962, she married Chub Haeg. Together they raised their 4 children in Bloomington. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenny. She is survived by her husband, Chub; children, Joe (Barb Ganzer), Mark, Tom (Lyn) and Sarah Roers (Ron); 13 grandchildren, John, Tony, Janna, Ben, Zac, Ted, Joe, Eleanor, Harrison, Hank, Jacob, Joshua, and Josie. Survived by brothers, Robert, Jim, Dennis, Tom Boeding; sister, Susan Smith and many nieces and nephews. Harriet was blessed with the best of friends who were faithful to the end. Thanks to the Masonic Home and Hospice for their love and care. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption, 305 East 77th St. Interment Assumption Cemetery. Visitation Sunday November 18, 2018 3-6 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. So. and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Memorials preferred to the Poor Clare Sisters.
