Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Glen Ullin.Elinor passed away Nov. 18, 2011, at Marion Manor Health Center, Glen Ullin.Elinor Schaaf was born July 26, 1925, to Michael and Magdalena (Messer) Schaaf on the family farm near Glen Ullin. She grew up and attended the local Country grade school through the eighth-grade. Throughout the remainder of her life, Elinor lived in and around the Glen Ullin area. She was very proud of her community and was reluctant to get too far away from home. Elinor worked at the Marion Manor Health Center for 14 years. After retiring, she utilized her previous work experience and cared for her mother, Magdalena in their home until her death. She was known as a very stylish woman and always dressed up for special occasions. Elinor's nieces and nephews were very special to her and she enjoyed spending time with them.
