  [S927] Obituary. Lucille Weisser Lucille Weisser, 92, Emery, SD died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Diamond Care Center in Bridgewater, SD. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday, November 16 at Grace Reformed Church in Mitchell. Burial will be in the Emery Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm Sunday at the Grace Reformed Church. Arrangements are with the Hettinger-Bittner Funeral Chapel in Emery. Lucille Maxine Weisser was born July 23, 1923 at Parkston, SD to Alex and Bertha (Fisher) Schmidt. After graduating from high school, Lucille taught in rural country schools for several years. On September 29, 1946 she married Samuel Weisser. They farmed their entire lives before retiring to an acreage near Emery. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Ken) Kaldun, Alexandria, one sister, Charlotte (Maynard) Friederich, Mitchell, brother, Melvin (Carolyn) Schmidt, Scotland, two grandchildren: Robin (Chris) Haiar, Natalie (Ben) Abbey, seven great grandchildren: Caden, Skyler, Maverick, Sage and Cora Haiar and Elliott and June Abbey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, daughter, Bonnie Fauth and brother, Ruben Schmidt.
