Born in Utica, New York, Joseph retired as Vice President of M&T Bank and formerly was a substitute teacher for the Baldwinsville Central Schools. He was a graduate of St. Lawrence and Rutgers Universities, a member of Dewitt Community Church, the Merchants Bank golf league and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Susan A. Bick; son, Rob Bick of Brewerton; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Theresa Bick of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Jon and Alyssa Bick, and his pet labs Maggie and Molly. Calling hours will be Thursday, March 24, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Dewitt Community Church, 3600 Erie Blvd E., Dewitt, NY.
