  [S927] Obituary. January 22, 1933 - December 12, 2017 Lucille Ann Weyman Deas passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at age 84. She was the beloved widow of Richard Anthony Deas, to whom she had been married 47 years upon his passing. She is survived by her sons Paul (Glenda), John (Patricia) and Matthew, and her grandchildren: Emily, Grace, William and Jason. She was the daughter of the late Lucille Ann Barrett Weyman and John Albert Weyman. She was predeceased by her brother, John Gerard Weyman. A graduate of Ursuline Academy, she would attend Ursuline College until its closing, and would graduate from Loyola University?s School of Education. She would then be a school teacher at Lakeview and Hynes Elementary schools. After raising her family, she would obtain a Masters Degree in Library Science, and would be a school librarian, most notably at Hynes Elementary School, until her retirement. After retirement from the education system, she became a realtor with Latter & Blum. She was a member of the Four Fins Social Club. A founding member of St. Angela Merici Parish, she would be active in many ways with the Parish, including serving on the board of the St. Angela Ladies Auxiliary and also as a member of St. Angela?s Right to Life and Young at Heart Organizations. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at St. Angela Merici Church, 901 Beverly Garden Dr., Metairie. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. [S926] Find-A-Grave, (www.findagrave.com).
