Orville James Heizelman was born on September 23, 1935, a son of Ferdinand and Pauline (Scheuffle) Heizelman in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in the Velva and Sawyer area. Jimmy attended the School for the Deaf located in Devils Lake for a time, before returning to the Velva area. Jimmy enjoyed riding motorcycle, snowmobiling and bowling on the Wii. He was an excellent craftsman, making miniature horse drawn carriages and carving the leatherwork. Jimmy is survived by: Siblings: Ardis Aasen, Minot, Janice Knippelberg, Oak Harbor, WA, Ronald (Patricia) Heizelman, Velva, Garry (Gloria) Heizelman, Minot, Judith (Melvin) Bachmeier, Minot; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law Tom Aasen and Jack Knippelberg.
