He had been employed 18 years with the railroad. He was an Army veteran with duty in 1942 and 1943. He was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Marsh, Mont., a son of Gottlieb and Karolina Lassle. He married Berta Hintz Doffinger on Mar. 15, 1953.Survivors include the widow; three sons, David, Daniel and Duane Lassle, and a step-son, Helmut Hintz, and a daughter, Deloris Lassle, at home; four brothers, Gottlieb Lassle of Terry, John and August Lassle of Billings, and Fred Lassle of Miles City; a sister, Mrs. Karolina Wilken of Glendive; and three grandchildren. Services in the Evangelical Church of North America. Burial in Fallon Cemetery.
