HELEN C. GLIDDEN
Helen C. Glidden, 95, a former resident of Marlette, MI., Florida, Indiana, and a long time Ray Twp., MI. resident, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Hospice Center at Marlette Hospital.
She was born February 10, 1911 in Belleville, IL., the daughter of Edward and Blanche (Cox) Tribout. She married James C. Glidden and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Along with her husband, they farmed in Ray Twp. for many years. She was a charter member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Romeo and her hobbies included gardening & sewing.
She is survived by her children: James (Nancy) of Romeo, Richard (Lorri) of Marlette, and Gail (Dave) Boyer of Howe, Indiana. Also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Bruss of Traverse City, MI. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, January 6 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Fellowship with Rev. Lynn Witt officiating. Burial followed in the Romeo Cemetery. Donations to the United Hospice Service of Marlette would be appreciated.
