Marvin Salz officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery in St. Lucas, Iowa.Mrs. Nolte, 53, of rural Waucoma, Iowa, formerly of Rochester and Adams, died Wednesday (March 14, 2001) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.Dorothy Ann Bissen was born June 26, 1947, in Osage, Iowa, attended Southland High School in Adams and took the medical secretary course at Austin Junior College for a year. She worked at Mayo Clinic for nine years before her marriage. On May 31, 1975, she married Roger Nolte at Sacred Heart Parish in Adams, and they made their home near Waucoma. Mrs. Nolte was employed at Sara Lee in New Hampton, Iowa, for five years and at Atwood Co. in West Union, Iowa, for 12 years. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in December 1991, she joined the Northeast Iowa Multiple Sclerosis Support Group and had served as the group's secretary the past two years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and enjoyed baking, cross-stitching and flower gardening.Survivors include her husband; three sons, Steve, Nick and Mike, all at home; her mother, Mary (Hogan) Bissen of Adams; three brothers, Joseph (Debra) Bissen of Rochester, Thomas Bissen of Minneapolis and Michael Bissen of Rose Creek; and three sisters, Virginia Bissen of Rose Creek, and Susan Bissen and Patricia, both of Rochester.
