He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jill Maureen Swenson Sullivan; sons, Alex Palmer Sullivan and his wife, Pam, of Waynesboro, and Jason Murray Sullivan and his wife, Jamie, of Jackson, TN, and grandchildren, Will Palmer of Richmond, Erin Elizabeth of Claremont CA, Natalie Swenson, Sarah Palmer and Corinne Frances of Jackson, TN, and Katherine Clella of Waynesboro. He is also survived by his brother, Bill and wife, Judy, of Deland FL and sister, Lois McCann, of Palos Heights, IL.Bob graduated from Oil City High School, Oil City, PA, and The University of Louisville with a bachelor in mechanical engineering in 1965. He was employed by BF Goodrich in Marietta, OH, Celanese Fibers in Cumberland, MD, and McKee Foods in Collegedale, TN, before moving to Waynesboro as Vice President and General Manager of McKee Foods in Stuarts Draft, VA, in 1990.He was an active member of St. Thaddaeus Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, TN, from 1974 until 1990 and St John’s Episcopal Church, Waynesboro from 1990, serving several terms on the vestry. He was an avid golfer, tennis and bridge player.
