Blanche N. Burgher
Blanche N. Burgher, age 87 of Mexico, formerly of Hannibal, died at 10:27 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at Audrain Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 22 at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burgher was born Dec. 11, 1916 in Americus, the daughter of Herman and Minnie Gloe Timmerberg.
She married Rex R. Burgher on March 7, 1940 at Montgomery City. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1988.
Mrs. Burgher had worked in the food service at Stowell School.
Survivors include one son, John Burgher and wife, Sharon, of Mexico; one daughter, Donna Ruth Rowland of St. Louis; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Virgil Timmerberg of High Hill and Pearl Timmerberg of Waterloo, Neb.; and one sister, Goldie Henson of O'Fallon.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
