Birth: Aug. 25, 1941 Lawrenceville Lawrence County Illinois, USA Death: Nov. 7, 2013 Lawrenceville Lawrence County Illinois, USA Harry Thomas "Tom" Stockfleet, age 72 of Lawrenceville, passed away at his residence early Thursday morning, November 7, 2013. He was born to Harry G. and Marjorie G. (Walters) Stockfleet at their home in Lawrenceville on August 25, 1941. He has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville since 1958. As a child, he was active in the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts. Once he graduated from Lawrenceville High School, he attended and graduated from Vincennes University. He then was a manager of Tressler's Dime Store in Vincennes. He worked as a manager at other dime stores througout Kentucky, Texas, and Kansas before moving back to Lawrenceville. While living here, he worked at McKim's IGA and the battery factory in Vincennes. Surviving family includes: his mother- Marjorie Stockfleet of Lawrenceville: one Aunt- Jeanne Walters of rural Bridgeport: his wife- Donna (Roadman) Stockfleet of Texas: one niece, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by: his father- Harry G. Stockfleet: his brother- Ronald Stockfleet: two Uncles: maternal Grandparents: and paternal Grandparents. A graveside service held at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
