Birth: Dec. 13, 1960 Port Clinton Ottawa County Ohio, USA Death: Nov. 3, 2008 Genoa Ottawa County Ohio, USA Valerie Peters, 47, of Genoa and formerly of Fostoria passed away at her home, Monday, November 3, 2008. She was born on December 13, 1960 in Port Clinton to Marion Peters, Port Clinton and Joyce (Edwards) Peters, Clyde, both survive. Surviving along with her parents are her sister, Sheryl A. Knieriemen, Green Springs, brother Michael E. Peters, Genoa, one niece, three nephews and 2 great-nephews. Also surviving is her uncle Ronald Edwards, Clyde and great aunt Mildred Gallant, Fostoria and several other aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her brother Scott Peters and several aunts and uncles. Valerie was in the United States Air Force for four years and worked as a custodian for most of her life most recently at Ship and Shore Inc. She enjoyed cleaning, writing and reading. Visitation will be private. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM on Friday November 7, 2008 at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline St. Fostoria. Burial will follow at West Independence Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family in Valerie's memory.
