Birth: Jan. 23, 1901 Sheridan County North Dakota, USA Death: Jan. 24, 1976 Burleigh County North Dakota, USA Mrs. Ida B. Wetzel, 75, died Saturday at Bismarck Hospital. The former Ida Lehr was born January 23, 1901, at McClusky where she lived until her marriage to John E. Wetzel, December 21, 1920, at Mandan. They lived in North Dakota and South Dakota until 1928 when they moved to Seneca Falls, New York. In 1949 they returned to Bismarck where Mrs. Wetzel was a hostess in a local cafe for many years. Mr. Wetzel died in 1965. She leaves three sons, James A., James T. and Thomas E., a foster son, Larry Joos; two daughters, Alyce Wetzel and Mrs. Duane (Patricia) Hughes; two foster daughters, Ellen Joos and Vivian Rickett; two sisters, Mrs. Alyce Verdien and Mrs. Lucile McDonald; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
