Birth: Feb. 23, 1917 Saint Paul Ramsey County Minnesota, USA Death: Nov. 23, 1957 Waseca Waseca County Minnesota, USA Wayne Wobschall, 40, an employee of the Journal Publishing Co. since 1952, died suddenly at his home early Saturday morning of a coronary attack. Mr. Wobschall had been ill during the night and his wife had been up with him several times. When she again got up Saturday morning, she found him dead. Mr. Wobschall had not previously been ill as he had worked a full day on Friday, making deliveries of Friday’s Waseca Herald before going home. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 a. m. at Pfaff’s Home for Funerals with burial at Woodville cemetery. The Rev. Douglas Pitts of the Calvary Episcopal church conducted services. At the time of his death he was a pressman-stereotyper at the Journal Publishing Co. Kenneth Neste, Palmer Neste, David Atherton, Vince Barden, Grove Brown and Bud Clarke were pallbearers. A son of Alfred and the late Pearl Smith Wobschall, Wayne Francis Wobschall was born February 23, 1917 in St. Paul. He came to Waseca when three years old, and attended Central high school. The former Jane Mary Gill became his wife on May 30, 1941. She survives as do two children, Donald Wayne, 15; and Joan, 14, both at home. Other survivors are his father, one brother, Willis, Glenville; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gauerke, Saukville, Wis. and Mrs. Joyce Arnfelt, New Richland. Waseca Journal 11-27-1957 Contributed by S.
